Protein Waffles
- 1 scoop Ascent Chocolate Whey Protein
- ¼ cup all natural apple sauce
- ½ cup egg whites (3 egg whites)
- 1 whole egg
- ½ cup old-fashioned oats
Directions
- Mix ingredients in a blender
- Blend until liquid (batter will be slightly thinner than traditional waffle batter)
- Heat waffle iron
- Spray with coconut oil spray or equivalent
- Pour mixture into waffle iron and close
- Heat for around 45 seconds (doesn’t take long and waffles aren’t as thick)
- Makes ~ 4 waffles
