Want a yummy breakfast that will help you reach your daily protein goals? These protein pancakes are a delicious, easy way to do that!

Here’s the recipe:

Protein Waffles

  • 1 scoop Ascent Chocolate Whey Protein
  • ¼ cup all natural apple sauce
  • ½ cup egg whites (3 egg whites)
  • 1 whole egg
  • ½ cup old-fashioned oats

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients in a blender
  2. Blend until liquid (batter will be slightly thinner than traditional waffle batter)
  3. Heat waffle iron
  4. Spray with coconut oil spray or equivalent
  5. Pour mixture into waffle iron and close
  6. Heat for around 45 seconds (doesn’t take long and waffles aren’t as thick)
  7. Makes ~ 4 waffles
